Sorry you can not make it Keith, the forecast is looking a bit better for Saturday evening.
So keep an eye on the skies everyone and if it is clear we would be happy for a few more telescopes and their people to arrive at the park.

Thanks

Hi Deirdre,

I am just wondering if the park is going to kick us out at 10pm or is the place usually not locked up?

Graham (praying for clear skies!)

Hi , Yes the staff will close the barriers around 10 bells, usually the public will have gone by then as the star parties in the park attract families with young children.

So if it is clear we have two hours to entertain people by showing them nebula , clusters , double stars , planets, telescopes and chat .

Thanks

Afraid not.

I was there until 10 and it was still cloudy.

Thanks for all who brought scopes along.
And for John Murphy and Val Dunne for the impromptu talk.

I hope you're feeling better Dee,

Michael.
