Just got a call from a club member asking if the clouds to the north here in Kerry were NLC's? They have the right colour and it is nearly late enough at 23:45? Have a look..

Just stepped outside the studio now to have a look Michael, and yes, they are there. VERY obvious display, fantastic, cloudless horizon here in Tullamore except for the Noctilucent Clouds, of course.

Yea, there certainly was a nice display visible after midnight,
I dusted off the canon and got a few images of it.

Anyone have an idea just as to how far away these NCL displays are, we know the heights so now how far?
