Try this website www.r-g.de/en/index.html . Its a German company that makes composites products. Go to the E-Shop, and in the e-shop go to semi-finished products and you will find carbon tubing up to 24mm in diameter and greater. A bit expensive though. May be aluminium would be a better choice.

Carbonology sell them online in the UK. Massive selection but also a hefty price.

Was going to get a set myself as I can't find 1" alu anywhere - trying .75" instead.
Just out of interest though, why would you go for 1" tubes. CF is WAY stronger than aluminium, surely 16mm or 18mm would suffice?

You'll have to name it Big Bertha!
I tried a few places in the UK and placed an order with the only one that I found that would ship internationally. The next day they refunded me saying they can't ship to Ireland. In the event that I can't get carbon fibre, anyone know where I can get aluminium tube?
I've since heard that there is a place in Cork that does Aluminium tubing to order though. Sorry, I don't know any of the details however.

Have you considered the aluminium tubing you can buy in a hardware
store for hanging coats on in a wardrobe?
I'm just firing out ideas here......
