Celestron Powertank

So has anyone bought the maplin one yet??? Any experiences so far???

Dont know if this will be of any use to you, but I made one myself with a battery pack/charger/cable and the screw on jacks and a box, it's same as the smaller Powertank model, it's easy to make up and cost me either 40 or 50 euro. (cant remember exactly). Think I got most of the kit in an electronic shops at the back of the moore St.

If you want details let me know.

I have used it in tracking mode (as well as re-positioning the scope) for 8 hours, without any problem so far! At least using your own design I can add extra plugs/jacks or radio etc.. if I want to.
