If not M17, then definitely M8, the lagoon nebula, it's a fantastic target :D

Unfortunately not Keith - my FOV would only be about 18 or so arcmins...

Tthe garden wall would probably prevent me from imaging it anyway - M8 is very low at the moment and hugging the horizon...

But never say never!

Dave, never be stuck, I'm on my way with the sledge hammer, then you will see what I was doing instead of attending latin class :lol:
Astronomers do it with the lights off.
