Cheers Dave. Just as a matter of interest, what was your processing?

I save my images as type FTS. I then process the image in Photoshop using the FITS Liberator (free plugin). This plugin requires that you adjust the levels (black and white levels) before the image is imported into photoshop - this is where you start to see the detail. You choose the appropriate levels then hit the OK button. The image is now in Photoshop and I just tweaked the levels a bit more. And that was it. No sharpening, blurring etc etc. Just levels.
Then I just saved it as a jpeg image and posted it.
I'm having a lash at some further processing now - its a bit more difficult than I expected....
Cheers

The "Eagle" has landed in Celbridge.
BTW thrust you to get in the bird's legs.
Great shot Dave. Well done. Make sure to put that one on our site.

Dave, That's you're best shot to date!!! Ithink the further processed one looks super, great detail - that's a successful shot when everything appears in 3D. How about M17 just under it?

M17 is a bit dowdy don't you think? I've never imaged it but it kinda looks 'plain' in starry night pro...
I need to try and get rid of some of that star bloat. I'm going to try this again with either an IR or a Lumicon UHC filter.
If I get a good shot in a short period of time, I'll do M17 and see how it turns out.
Cheers
