Nice clear skys last night, so it was time to try out the etx-125

Tried to do some eye-piece project photography but could not get image in focus with eyepiece or get the scope to stay steady with the weight of the Canon 350D.

Am I doing some wrong? The moon was focused in the eyepiece but sliding up and down the barrel didn't focus the image.

So I put in the camera in prime focus and was able to snap a few off.
This is the best one from last night:
320

The technical bits
shutter 1/1000s
ISO :1600 ( probably way too high )

Processed in RawShooter
Completely desaturated the image
Incresed vibrance

Nice image Dar, one suggestion though - don't make it so large in terms of dimension! If you shrink it even down to the size that would fit in a browser window, it will look much more sharper (as your thumbnail here does), and therefore give your picture more justice! Really nice image! :D
