Yea, I prefer the first image, a tiny bit dark, it can be so hard to get the processing right sometimes, especially if you look at it too long without a break.

Thanks for the useful comments lads.
Looking at it in the cold light of day, I think the brightness of the second one is good but is indeed a little too sharp....back to the processor...
