Michael,
Great nebulosity!!, very natural and smooth, the stars look a tiny bit elongated, lower left to upper right, and the pink, good auld refractors :)
Great image all the same.

The modded 300d captures alot more detail in the red than the "normal" version - particularly in nebulae. Whilst this gives alot more detail it creates an image that looks very red. One of the issues I have is trying to keep the detail but bring the colour back to looking normal.

Now that my eyes have rested, I'll give this another go at processing later today.

Thanks for the feedback. Much appreciated.

Have fun,

Nice image Michael on the Pleiades, one thing I’d like to know, is how do you up load your image into the bulletin board?

I place it on my own website and then link it from there.

If you have an image that you want to share, then try this:
1) Got to this site and register: www.flickr.com/
2) Follow the instructions, and this will create a free account where you can upload your images onto the web
3) Once you have uploaded your image onto Flickr, open it and copy the url (address). For example, the url (address) for my image is: www.astroshot.com/Deep%20Sky/images/2006_12_15_pleiades_v2.jpg
4) Create a post or message on the IFAS site and then past in the url.
Once it's pasted in, highlight the url and click the "Img" button in the top corner of the page. This places certain text either side of the url so as to tell the IFAS site software the you want to display the image in the page.

Does this make sense? It's a bit cumbersome, I know.
