Anthony, good luck hunting down the HST, I'd bet you'll get it sooner or later.
Frank, The 12" was keeping the ISS in the 26mm eyepiece for nearly all of the transit across the sky, it was a degree or so out at the start which I was able to compensate for.
But, the crossing speed of the ISS seems to have been "in between" 2 of the tracking speeds of the scope so the program knew what to do to keep it in the eyepiece, but not steadily.
If you can imagine it would use a higher speed for a second and then a slower speed for another second so it see-sawed across the field of view, so you can imagine it was flying in and out of the toucam field of view, too fast for a clear webcam image, so the image was smeared.
There are other controls on the program which might be able to compensate for this, a little experimentation is in order.
It seems to be able to track slower satellites perfectly, but the ISS's speed might be a problem, we'll see.
if its clear I'll try again with different settings.
Using the barlow will show some stunning detail, good luck with it. !
