Are you ABSOLUTELY sure? It did not get below 29d C during the evening while I was out imaging. During the day it is 40+ C.
I must get the water pump so as to exploit the water cooling option which is available with the CCD camera and thereby gain an extra 10d C in the cooling of the CCD chip.

I'd take 29 Celsius over constant rain any time.

I remember the few weeks I spent in Saudi Arabia in the late 1980's where temperatures were in the low 50's (d Celsius) in January!
Strange as it may sound, I love the heat and hot weather.
My results from last night involving B143 in Aquila went directly into the recycle bin. With great difficulty I had a chip temperature of -2.5d and it reflected in the ensuing results.

Today we hit 46d Celsius and the predictions are for an even hotter week starting Monday.I'd take 29 Celsius over constant rain any time.

Anthony - perhaps a ProLine is in order? 60 deg C below ambient guaranteed with 70 below attainable....
SBIG forums are plagued withh cooling "issues" at this time of year. The ProLine seems to have solved this issue.

Hi Dave,
Thanks for the heads-up ... I will Google a few key words to see what I come up with. I must confess that I am really addicted to the second on-board guide chip.
