Stunning shot Kieran. So many stars. Even with a predominant red channel visible, it still looks somewhat natural in its own rite. Where is this Elephant Trunk?

The Elephants Trunk is the dark nebula below the largest star near the centre. The star is mu cephei which is a long term variable called the Garnet Star by Herschel.
