One time I took two and a half hours worth of 'data' with the DSLR. Yes you guessed it, NO memory card!! More recently discovered after an hour's imaging that I had forgotten to click 'Autosave' images in the ATIK software. The other one I remmber was spending 15minutes looking for a guidestar. Yes you guessed it again, take the cap off the guidescope Dave!

Done that one to Dave with astroart software :oops: . You'd think they would set this to default when you call up the sequence window.

In that image the stars on the less dense side appear a lot more red which would suggest some form of dusty nebs in the region. Cool the way it zig-zags at the top of the image.
Quick question. Have they(the pro's) identified the source of the veil system supernova?
