Nice one Mike,

though, a little too much contrast dare I say it! Though this does highlight the libration in the northern area. I tend to like my moon pics a little softer tho' thats just me. From a detail and scientific point its fab.

Michael,

A trick which I use to assess the quality of any lunar photo, especially when the disk is close to full, is to look at the Messier twin craters ... good seeing, good optics and good focusing will show these very small twin craters and the rays which emanate from them.

Well, try and guess what? You nailed both the twin craters and their rays ... which means the rest of the photo by extension is equally impressive.
