I feel a "Dear friends and dmcdona" coming soon. Where is Anto by the way? Has Greece been clouded out?

That is an excellent image. Nothing to be shamed about and certainly a keeper. Galaxies are difficult beasts ... they need hours and hours of total exposure.

Every winter I go through hell due to the weather and this year is no exception. I think I may have a solution: multiple scopes available for imaging so that the rare and few nights which are indeed available can be tackled with multiple scopes at the same time.
Or else move to Australia for six months ...
