but what a way to go.
+ 12"LX200, MK67, Meade2045, 4"refractor

Now that is ALOT better Steve !! :shock:
Once you get a fine image without a barlow, then you can be alot more confident of getting a good image with a barlow.
Like Frank said, try using levels 1 and 2 when processing it again, using the higher levels tends to blend out smaller details.
When I'm image capturing on a night of good seeing, I use only level1 and if its grainy I use a tiny bit of level3, I find that Gaussian levels don't work well with Saturn. I hope this helps.

See that last image hi, it's class, I'd be really satisfied with that. So well done to you, you did what the majority of our people cannot do. You pictured an entire world millions of miles away in a really clear context. Awesome.

Hi all,
I eventually invested in a decent monitor and I have to say there is some difference in what can be seen on the screen, compared to my old one. So I gave another go at processing the Saturn AVIs from Feb.
I hope this is an improvement
