I may have to Dave...it is very good software..its going to add another $150 USD on top of the pricetag however. There's another program I found called Amcap which is pretty good as well..and its $20 USD so not bad.

Why is an 80mm APO refractor more powerful the a run of the mill 90mm refractor like mine.

All other things being equal, a 90mm should be 26% "better" than an 80mm.

Any good 90mm achromatic refractor should give superior images to any 80mm at medium or low power. APO or no APO.

A lot of "APO hype" is like "Hi-Fi hype".
Ordinary mortals often can't detect the difference.

(My 6 inch achromatic Celestron refractor is better,and cheaper, than any APO "dwarf-telescope" I have ever looked through).
