The sky was much more turbulent here tonight compared to last night too Trevor - I had great difficulty getting the LPI to lock onto its aligning features.

Seeing was nice an steady here in Bray, I got a consistant view at 300X

Hi Deirdre
I only got a chance to process some of the Lunar imaging I took during the week today and hey presto .... I too was imaging Clavius at about 9.35 ish...... last Monday the 14th of April.
This is what turned up

Yep - was also out that night and imaging in the general area.
This was a shot to test out a new GSO 5x Barlow. I wasn't going to post it as it's not that sharp.
Can anybody help with identification of the features? Reckon it must be Tycho.....

That is an excellent detailed image of the Clavius area. I have some old images taken back in the 1960s by the Palomar 5m Hale telescope, the biggest at the time. They are so fuzzy as compared to yours. That was the problem in the old days of film and large telescopes amplifying the boiling effect of the atmosphere.
I can't remember what telescope and camera you use.
