Have you tried getting details of Jupiter's moons, at that image scale they must look like discs with some detail.

Bird.
Let me throw down the gauntlet....
How about capturing some detail on one of the moons?
Frank, it's possible to capture detail on Ganymede and Io, but the others are a bit harder - have a look at the June images
cheers, Bird

Anthony, those are fantastic.
Callisto in the last one looks hugh relative to Jupiter.

OMG  they are absolutely stunning images Bird, really fantastic.
Love the moons and jupiter, didnt know you could get that kind of detail out of them.
BTW, a quick question for you, do you use your 13" telescope for visual work on jupiter and if you do can you see alot of the storm bands on jupiter.
Just wondering what size of apature you would need to see any detail on jupiter.
Again brilliant images.

Yes, I too would be interested to know how the visual appearance of Jupiter through a scope under your skies compares to these amazing images.

It makes you wonder why they need to send probes up if they could just go to Anthony's back yard! Stunning!
