PS. I have seen very slightly used EOS 300D's sell on Astromart for $200 (or 130 euro)!!!

Frank/Michael,

Baader in Germany will change the filter for you for 75 euro and nothing more. It is a very good deal and a few local friends have used their service.


If I read their site correctly, the replacement filter cost is now 65euro.
However, the replacement service cost is 395euro + cost of filter.

Ok sound advice indeed.
I will keep a n eye out for a modded DSLR.
For now I will just have to live with it.
