I'm not to sure if I'm reading the diagram right. The way i see it sounds like a problem if it is meant to be 114mm from field flattener to ccd chip mine is just 55mm. :-(

There is very little I can which others have not already mentioned. Just add some colour data to your existing result and you will have a killer image but this time in RGB.

Use the distance figure(46.45mm) for the T mount adaptor since this is the easiest to measure directly. I had my focal reducer out by 10mm because of a dodgy diagram in the starlight manual and ended up with a circular coma effect as opposed to the normal radial effect. Is there anyway to shorten the connecting piece between the filter wheel and the ccd? Shorter adaptor length or getting one milled?

Well guys likes like the spacer did the trick. The stars on the bottom right look much better image was taken 13th july 08 8x 4 min exp no darks of flats
