You're going in the right direction, you'd getting a sharper image if you captured more images and stacked them in registax, keep up the good work.

Definitely getting there, as Dave said just more frames, focus looks great , just out of curiosity how many frames did you capture.

Thanks Guys,
I'm capturing about 1 minute at a atime at 10 fps. So about 600 frames.
The exceptipon was a capture at 5fps for which I captured 2 minutes (600 frames again).
The picture above is from a 10 fps sequence. I think I stacked less than 50 frames from that...
One that I captured with a bit more gain than the others.
Still tweaking
Thanks again,
Peter

Hi Peter am I right in thinking that you only got 50 or less
good frames from a sequence of 600, if that be the case it’s a
pity, because if you had around 400 or so that would be a
cracking image.
Keep tweaking
Tony

Hi Tony,
Yep, this seems to be the case....or at least according to Registax.
I have since been playing with K3CCDTools for stacking (after corresponding with Peter the owner) and have been getting slightly better results, even with my earlier shots.
With this rain...tweaking's all I have
Thanks for the encouragement
