Impressive shots.
I'm not familliar with the Neximage cam but
5fps to me might be a little low to beat not so good seeing.
Try 10fps / 15fps and see how that go's.
A 1min AVI might be the best to go for on Jupiter because
of rotation.
Higher FPS are helpfull to beat seeing but the
image gets grainer the higher you go.
Also on the capture settings.
Reasonably high gain & don't be afraid of Gama.
On the screen it may look a bit washed out but little or
no Gamma means you will loose contrast details
that will be very obvious once the images are stacked.
You can reduce gamma in Registax during processing.
I've only learned this reciently but it makes a big
difference to the fine detail I have found.
I used to try and set the levels in the camera
software to show a nice visual representation
of Jupiter but kind of like imaging in RGB,
if you cut out one 'wavelength' you will loose detail.

Aiden - to be honest, I think you're doing grand. Sometimes, a step back and a deep breath can avoid many hours of frustration. I'm pretty sure the seasoned folks have been there - I certainly have.
I recall many hours spent trying to figure out why my OTA was pointing anywhere but where I wanted it to. The odd thing was, it always pointed the same distance away from where it should be. Hours later, the penny dropped. The clocks had gone back. Duh!
You only do that once in this game. Well, mostly
Keep pluggin away - you're doing great.

Hi Frank
I have a couple of avis at 10 fps and 160 seconds that I have not got to processing yet, must have a go at them, I think you may have hit the nail on the head with the gamma issue, just checked my Jupiter save slot on WXastrocapture and the gamma was at 3, guess thats far too low also don`t think I give the scope long enough to cool down just 20 minutes. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

Thanks Dave
Going to hang up the camera for a while, have a go at Mars at the end of this month and then the one I can`t wait for Saturn!
