I'v loved science and astronomy since i was 4 and over the last 2 years have joined astronomy ireland and a cork club but they were completely independent of each other and didn't know any thing about each other though both had events in cork.It seemed pretty chaotic so i was delighted when i found this and learned that ireland has a proper scientific astronomy group the advanced observing group.

Seamus - hopefully this site will help you along your way in your enjoyment. As Dave (Lillis) says, ask all the questions you can think of - you'll always get a reply.
Glad you like the Advanced Observing Programme concept - let me know what, if anything, you're interested in and if you want to get involved, you'd be most welcome.
