The club is holding a session there for it, perfectly flat horison and good forecast, this could work out well !!
(BTW, I know your post was made before the decision for it was made )

You guys down in SAC certainy have probably the best site on offer to view it from, wish I was there...

Had three moon views lasting two minutes each ( lucky me ) then snow snow snow and more snow.
Saw lovely dark pink colour develop 07:30 lots of detail visible , lovely curve on terminator.

Then saw a plane with its red lights flashing fly across the deep red tan of the southern section of the moon around 07:55. Went to the end of my road to watch it over Kathy Gallaghers Hill and managed to point it out to some neighbours struggling along to work. Snow swallowed moon after that.

Caught some glimpses of the partical phases in breaks in the fog.
However, I missed totality.
