2 Pauls, young Joshua and Michael Murphy and I saw it. I am lost for words. It was orange and some parts of it was green and seemed to cover at least 50 degrees of the sky. I badly need to know what it was. Please -I don't want it to be a spacecraft. I desperately want it to be a real firewall / meteor.

Aubrey.

I saw it few miles outside sligo, just as I was packing up my scope, it was incredible, for a second I didnt know what was happening, absolutely amazing, they went right across the sky, all the way over to the west, I was just following these thing in total ahh!!,
also shortly afterwards I could hear a load of sounds like thud sounds, is this possible that I could have heard these fire balls, or am I loosing my mind?

First off, congrats to anyone who did see the fireball.
Unfortunately, I missed it.
To determine the path of the object, it would be great if people could state their town and the direction they saw it travelling in.
Ideally, it would be great if you can outline which constellations you saw it pass through.
That would determine the track with greater precision.
Thanks,
Michael.
