Haven't been able to spot it yet. I have a great location, but haze and cloud each evening has been hampering efforts. Tried last night where I had little cloud but lots of upper atmospheric haze, didn't spot it.

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

It looks like the early evening weather here in Dublin will be fine, so there's a good chance to spot it, I'm hoping to head up to the obelisk in Killiney, overlooking Bono's pad, there's a great view of the west to be had. It's a bit of a hike so I don't think I'll drag the scope and just view it in the binos.

Hi all, I managed to get a fortunate break in the clouds to easily spot it with my
9 x 63mm binos this evening at 7.40pm, surprisingly high in the west-northwest. It was golden in colour with a lovely small tail anout the size of the full moon pointing away from the sun. I would say that it has brightened a little since the last time I saw it on wednesday last.
I tried to convince myself I could se it naked eye, but nah..no chance there
