Next weekend is just fine, for we are (1) still within December and able to meet the deadline, (2) the moon is not an issue and (3) Orion will be at its highest (for imaging) with no lunar incursion.
Of course, the ugly thorn on everyone's side (the weather) is the only unknown (as usual). :evil:

By that time I will be so full of turkey, goose and boiled ham I won't fit through the door of the obs. Think I may lie outside and just stare upwards till I loose a few poounds.
Actually just had a thought, since Christmas is for the kids (and astros who need an excuse to buy new gear) I may let my six year old call the shots and see what she comes up with :shock:
