Hello moon, goodbye image

Dear friends .... and Kieran,

Do NOT let the moon discourage you! Bright nebulae such as M42 are impervious to the moon. Here is a test photo in the presence of Luna taken last year and which involved THREE 3-min subs (from what I recall): www.perseus.gr/Astro-DSO-NGC-1976.htm .

If I know my ex-buddy Kieran, he is just using some reverse psychology on everyone by trying to discourage them from imaging and submitting something ... so that his submission (during full moon) will be the only one tendered.

Someone bought my 80mm before I got the new gear

Despite the remarks of my esteemed award winning colleague, I had planned to go for other targets which the moon will just make a wasted night.

Hey Anto, don't let all those hard won NexImagers trip you up on the way out to the scope
