As your busy , if john does not mind, why not just have a link to his calender as a short term solution?

I installed a PHP event calendar from these people;
www.ikemcg.com/scripts/index.html
Fairly quick to install and administer. (I think you can run PHP on your server?) You can see it on my site here;
www.irishastronomy.com/calendar/
Not many events in my one right now, as you need to persuade people to keep it updated! But, if you managed to do that, and wrote some PHP to take 'Next 7 days' from the db to display on your homepage, that might work.
[edit] Just noticed 'phpGallery' on that site as well.... interesting [/edit]
John, does the Calendar tie in with PHPBB? I don't want people to have to log in more than once on the site so I need a calendar that will validate off PHPBB.

calendarmssgs - contains the event listing records
calendarusers - contains username/password records
However, the only users who need username/password are people who will be adding entries to the calendar. Anyone else can access the calendar to view without needing username/password.

Any chance we could organise this and use John's calender? I just find that notices of club meetings and events disappear quickly into the bowels of of old posts.........
