I can host it at home or in UCD. trouble is I dont have the time to set up a wiki or a decent gallery which I think is what we need for this effort. So if someone else had the time for that, I can help out hosting the images people mail me if thats of any use.
btw, UCD computers are not the most reliable things in the world over the summer...

As a thought, some people here host their own servers (Dave Power, John Honan, semi-me... others?). Is there room for extra bandwidth on these servers to host a specific file/folder/section of the photography?

OK folks, I've upped the Kildare astronomy website traffic and storage to 5GB each. We'll see how we get on with that. I can up it again if neccesary, I've got 45GB storage total. But I have to be careful as this is a business account, so I'll just have to keep a close eye on it.
if it gets really crazy we can always ask Hosting 365 to sponsor us.. I know they've done it before, and they make quite a few Bob off me)))))
I can put up an upload/gallery thingy much like the one on the Kildare site without much difficulty.

If tihs is as popular as the Observing Challenges this could take up 10s of gigs of traffic a month!
I can host this on the Astro2 account on the NUIM Netsoc server which has unlimmited bandwidth and allows us a gig of storage. This is where the observing challenges are currently stored.
