I had a look at starrynight, I wont be able to see it from Limerick, its a few degrees away

According to the program, it looks like it crosses the sun in a fraction of a second, blink and you'll miss it :?

The weather forecast is not looking the best for Saturday... this spell of wet weather for the past week has been a little unusual... same trend for over a week now...

Tell us about it seanie...

As it happens, I've taken the time to construct a Heath Robinson contraption which allows me to piggy-back the ETX70 OTA on top of the C8. The additional weight on the front of the SCT also helps to balance it better on the mount.

The ETX70 is a weighty little so and so!

Let's hope things clear up soon...

Cheers
