Carrying around my 20" obsession is going to kill me,
but what a way to go.
+ 12"LX200, MK67, Meade2045, 4"refractor

Regarding Tullamore, are we talking about the Tullamore observatory site??
We are Dave! Its about 2 miles from the town, so we do get good dark southern skies. I'll show you all at Cosmos if ye all come...

Cheers Dave! Now you have forced us to clean it and paint it for you... only kidding!
We are in the process of trying to get the few leaks in the dome fixed. One member, the elusive-as-Mercury Bob Campbell, has a winch system to put into it so that 1 person can operate the dome. Bear in mind, this is NOT on a par with the observatory in Galway! But at least its there!

OK seanie, why dont we leave it till Cosmos IFAS meeting and see what they think. maybe they may think of something. I am not discounting a barbeque at all, great idea!, maybe fine for first event.
