Not even special, just think of the odds of seeing it in such a small area of sky at a certain time and all that, and you begin to wonder if you really saw such a thing!

I have caught many telescopic meteors but i have never seen one coming head on within the FOV....that must have been really special!

An Uncle of mine witnessed a meteor coming straight towards him on Oslo during one of the recent Leonid storms that we were clouded out for. He said it is the most scarey thing you will ever see. It is just a spot in the sky that get brighter and brighter untill it either hits you or burns up!!!

But through a telescope at low power.... can't even try to picture it if only for the fact that I actually saw it!
