Those are really neat shots Frank. What's the object in the second one you caught?

Great shots Frank !!!!
Hi Mia, I had a small amount of sketching gear with me but as I spend a lot of time doing sketches I could not hog anyone's scope for that long.
My car was stuffed with childrens art, no room for a telescope, so maybe next year. It would be nice to have a sketch done from Birr Castle sometime, just for the fun of it.

Thanks.
Cygnus (mostly)
You can see The Coathanger asterism to the bottom left.
I'm surprised I could get as much as I did out of them because the
originals are just blanket orange fog. You can barely make out the Telescoe in it!

Nice images Frank, its a real pity we got hit with such a bad fog this year which made the light pollution a whole lot worse then it is normally, the place was lit up like a Christmas tree over it.
I can remember back in 2001 (I think) and you could not see your hand infront of you. That was a particularly dry time.
The second image , Deneb and Vega ended up with galaxy like edges on them, this is because of the fog I presume..
Is that my Dob in the 3rd image ?

Deirdre, you can commandeer my scope at Galway, Cosmos and next year's WSP, no problem!!! (I might even have a Dob next year so that's also at your disposal!)
Wonderful images Frank, I particularly love the first image, sums up the weekend perfectly!
What with Deirdre's sketch of the Coathanger and your image, I'm getting really spoiled re Cr399!!!
