I KNOW i wont be missed. was created by pj30something
So bye bye.

Too many people here take the whole hobby of astronomy way too seriously without any room for non-astronomical social interaction on these boards between users.

I cant exist in that kind of environment.

Umm this is odd, well it's a board and website about astronomy, boards.ie is the place for other matters.

Paul, come on.

"I KNOW i wont be missed."
is symmetrical with:
"I KNOW i wont miss the hobby of Astronomy."

Either of which are NOT true, so I am sure you are joking.

Think about that, also:
Leaving an astronomy forum 40 days before a total solar eclipse is not very wise. You can't miss the excitement that will prevail and refresh this forum.
The bonds between members will strengthen and a whole lot of new members will register.
Where will YOU be then? HERE, of course!

So I suggest you stay and change your avatar to an eclipsed sun.

Don't go Paul....yer great gas.... and I for one, would miss you, and I'm not being sarcastic. As a beginner myself my knowlwdge of astronomy and the tools of astronomy is poor, but the wealth of experience within IFAS is considerable....even if there are a few serious heads among us....we are no different than any other group...BTW i'm not one of those serious heads...

non-astronomical social interaction

I'd prefer to be dead than to talk endless FOOTBALL with idiots down in the pub.

This forum is about ASTRONOMY.

It's not about knitting or fly fishing or indeed.....Dustin.
