Astronomy Club for North County Dublin

and Dave went to as an observing site nice
dark sky only 25 min drive from Ballbriggan.

Everything is moving so fast on this I could do with all the help I can get. That observing site is very good for members when was taking to the council earlier they are letting use the martello tower site for public Telescopes nights. Even the Balbriggan garda are helping me out. I can't believe everyone is been so co operative on this. All I need now is a website.

Now Carl if you were to call it the south Co Louth
astronomy club (SLAC) you would definitely have
my undivided attention :lol: :lol:

There's enough clubs in Dublin already sure
south Co Louth may as well be north Co Dublin
as of late :lol:

What's the state of play with the new club? I would be happy to help with arranging some speakers.

What is happing so far is a lot of paper work taking up most of the time.But on the other hand hoping to have the first lecture In August/September. We got a state of the art lecture hall that can fit up to 100 people

That's great news. Please post a note when you are ready for people to sign up. Well done by the way, North Dublin needs an astronomy club.
