It sounds like I have to come up with a memo or something like that to show the council and Schools hope I can count on you to give a Light Pollution talk at some point.

Carl, generally speakers will do it for free, be they amateurs like myself or professionals from the Universities, Observatory, Planetarium etc, but it is considered polite at least to cover their expenses, and if they've come a fair way, take them out for their tea.
I know all their expenses will be paid for and if we can afford it a bit more to
