Dave - this is absolutely gob-smacking news!!!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo: CONGRATULATIONS x 1000!!!!
I just took a quick last bleary-eyed look at the Forums before collapsing into bed after working outside until midnight... and I'm totally awake again, with eyes out on matchsticks, at this fantastic news!!!! Well done!!!
The last time we talked you mentioned the teamwork in bagging Dave Mc's asteroid - well whatever formula you guys have cooked up, it is definitely a winner! I'm absolutely hopping with excitement for you!!!!:woohoo: :woohoo: I hope you are able to get a decent night's sleep after what must have been an interminable wait for the MPC to get back to you... and after all the Champagne!!
WOW!
Phil.

Dave...oh WOW! Fantastic news...so thrilled for you. You were an inspiration to me when I began amateur astronomy in the early '90's. I remember with great happiness all those long and often freezing cold nights up at Djouce, nights when you showed me so many of the wondrous objects in the heavens, your enthusiasm and knowledge unrivalled. Nobody deserves this discovery more than you. May you go on to discover many more!
