Deise Astronomy Society had an overnight camping session a couple of years ago (twas in the summer on the night of a meteor shower) and twas great fun. At our last meeting, we did discuss doing this again sometime in August so if we do go ahead we'll post on IFAS and see how many of you hardy folk turn up....

I'd like on behalf of S.A.C. to invite our Greek friends
Yiannis, Vagelis, Kyriakee, Leon, Christina, Adonis, Nikos, Tomas, Stella...
(I'm sorry if I left some out...I'm terrible with names)
along to our humble starparty this year.

Now, I'm pretty sure most of you will not jump at the chance
of fling hundreds of miles over to near certain cloud cover for one weekend in September
but after the simply unbelievable hospitality you guys showed us for the Mt. Parnon trip
we would be very happy to see you come along.

It would be great to see you guysngals there, show you just how lucky you are under your very warm dark skies.

Hey Frank and Dave, Hi!

I and Kyriaki really thank you and SAC for the invitation! It is not so much important for us to have a dark -or not so dark- sky in Ireland. What is really important is that it would a chance to meet you guys again.
Unfortunately, we cannot make it this time of year, since we will be participating in our national amateur astronomy conference, held 25-27th Sept. But I and the other guys would be very happy to come to Ireland at another time in the future.
Many wishes for success to the Burren Starparty!
By the way, Parnon Mt is always there for you, if you wish to come again, and also for all you guys here at IFAS. The dates for this summer are 20-23 August 09.

Greetings from Greece,

Hi Vagelis,
no probs, there will always be another time.
Those late dates in August look very tempting !
