Just a heads up to everyone in the Country,that its looking very likely that we will spot the Shuttle Endeavour and the external tank fly over just 18-20 minutes after liftoff.Stay tuned for updates,get your camera and cam corders ready!!

Thanks for the Eamonn, and welcome to our humble abode!

Launch is scheduled for 00:39hrs on the early morning of July 12th:

As it has been spotted before (a shuttle launch minutes after lift-off), this might be a good chance for non-telescopic photography of the pass...


...it might even come up in a future theme of the Astrophotography Competition! ;)

Should be a nice one to catch.
There seems to be a lot fo ISS flybys
over the next week so hopefully again the
weather will play ball.
I wonder will we get to see the external tank again?

Hi everyone!

Clear skies to everyone for saturday,the crew arrive at 7pm Irish time,and can be seen live on nasa tv.Myself and my wife got to see sts125 launch from the press site in May truly an unforgettable experience we have wonderful photos.

Speaking of photos,any advise or tips,on how to record this event saturnight,it will be my third sighting,but so far have never recorded it.
