Guys,
the weather was so bad on Friday night to postpone the launch, the tower was hit by lightning!
Eleven lightning strikes hit within a half-mile of the launch pad Friday night, Mike Moses, the space shuttle program integration manager, told reporters Saturday.
Read about it here:
edition.cnn.com/2009/TECH/space/07/12/sp...endeavour/index.html
The article includes a movie showing the lightning strikes around and on the launchpad.
Seanie.

Looking like a No Go for launch unfortunately. Storm systems entering the 10 mile area around launch pad and 20 mile area around abort landing site.
Still, ISS in a few minutes. Of course Irish weather not playing ball for that either.

Beat me to it.
On the bright side, 100% cloud in Dublin at the mo' so maybe better weather tomorrow.
