I remember when it was getting close to Cosmos I realised that I was being way too optimistic back in January, thinking I would have Knightrider finished in time. But of course I was going to make it to Burren Starparty no problem at all. Sure its 6 months later......of course it'll be finished in time............... :blush: :blush: :huh: : blink:
I must admit however that I totally forgot about it till last week when this thread popped up again by which it was too late for me to organise time off work.
So there goes another year where I didn't make it to Starparties. Missed them all in 2008, now missed them all in 2009.

4 of us coming down from the North on Thursday, so should be around on Fri Night, hopefully its clear so to experience some proper dark skies.

Comet Updates
On the evening of the 26th, Comet 2006 W3 Christensen passes within two degrees of NGC 6790, a tenth magnitude planetary nebula at around 22:00.
Comet 217P/2009 F3 Linear passes just to the North of M42, M43 and the numerous NGC objects in that area in the early hours of the mornings of the 26th and 27th.
