Is it ok for newbies of this event to turn up, not having been to one before? it would be great to meet people with same interest....

Programming today is a race between software engineers striving to build bigger and better programs, and the universe trying to produce bigger and better idiots. So far, the universe is winning.

Hi All,
Weather is iffy for this evening but there is a hole in the cloud which might get here for this evening.
On that basis, we'll be GOING AHEAD.
See you there.
Michael.

As the purpose of this little expedition is light pollution and dark adaptation immune, there is less of a problem arriving late to the party at the observing site. As such, I'll be taking advantage of my proximity to the site here in Bray and will be phoning one of you to give me an on-site Sky transparency report before I drive up
You haven't changed your phone number in the last 3 or 4 years Michael have you??
