IAS/SDAS Sugarloaf event

Hey guys, I just joined this site but seen ur meeting for the Venus Jupiter conjunction at sugarloaf.... Can any1 go as light pollution is a killer in Dublin... Just hav a 4" scope but would like to come along if its ok....

I don't see any reasons why you couldn't.the more different scoped there will be the more fun will get

I'm hoping to attend also if that's ok - I'm a relative numpty but will bring along my new scope. Would be great to meet you all and learn a bit more about the hobby. It's down to the better half tho - bambino number two is due later next week so I may not get the free pass if there are any stirrings etc !

That is great, Michael. I aim to have a tuna roll as I wait for the early arrivals. It is brilliant there appears to be so many coming. On a side note, all 4 Jupiter's satellites are on the same side. If the skies are clear, this should be a most memorable night.
