Hi Seanie,
It cleared very low cloud at 07.48 UT. This is 7 minutes before the start of Civil Twilight at Rush. I worked out the comet altitude - only 2 degrees!
(taking refraction into account). Then visible to naked-eye.
Still visible in 12x36 binoculars as the sky got brighter.

It should be..By all accounts the comet is getting brighter. It was 12degrees from sun yesterday and was visible. Today it is 11 degrees from sun so should also be visible. Look just west of southwest at sunset. the comet should be about 10degrees above the horizon. It sets over an hour after sun. Venus should be blazing away about 20 degrees to comets left. The chart below is at sunset today

I don't believe this crap! Perfect time to try and see this comet, again, and the whole western horizon is draped in cloud, again... and after such a warm sunny day too... AARRGGHH!! :evil:
