Blue flashes in he sky was created by dave_lillis
It hasnt happened for the last year or two but
I remember seeing very fast, faint blue flashes in the sky a number of years ago. They were so fast and non distinct that I couldn't pin point them.
I vaguely remember reading about others seeing them also,
Has anyone here seen them.
I saw them in perfectly clear dark skies a number of times
This must sound like its way out there, but I thought I'd throw this out there to see if I'm not alone, this is by no mean the oddest thing I've ever seen in the sky.

Hi Dave,
Yeah, I think I saw something like that last week. But it might have been just a small gap in the clouds.

yea, reminds me of the so called yellow circle in the sky, some refer to it as the sun, but I'm sceptical as I know of no one who has seen it

I haven't seen flashes like this in a while but I used to see them a lot in Cavan on perfectly clear but very humid nights.
No one has ever been able to satisfactoraly explain them to me.
