Identity theft or some such nonsense. I sent them a lengthy email objecting to having to submit personal documents. To no avail. Most annoying of all, it delayed my order. But you only have to do it once and I blurred parts of my passport and bills.

Where would I get the adapter to connect the ToUcam to my telescope?

Think I saw such an adapter on either Telescope Hs. or Green Witch websites.
They're ~£25 I think.

However, M. O'Connell explained to me that you can use the plastic barrell that a 35mm film is stored in to do the same job.
This barrell fits snugly into a 1.25" eyepiece holder.
1stly, you need to remove the ccd from it's housing (yep - there's no going back!!!)
Then just cut the base off the 35mm barrell and tape the ccd in place.

Focusing is critical when in use.

And that's pretty much it.
Correct me if I've left anything out M! :P

Now this is all new to me too, so I'll be delighted if it's all so easy. :)

Don't think I'll be going down that road. I am bad enough for taking things apart when I really shouldn't, so I don't think I'll chance it even if I am only paying €50 or so for it.

I'm not sure, but i think you can get away with just removing the outer lens.

I also tried this but found that the CCD chip was not square with the optical axis, so part of the image was focused while another part was not.
I was getting flared/not focused edges on jupiter etc....

After a number of nights trying to get it perfect, I got rid of it and bought the adapter.
