Hi Folks
Latest mars image below with such crappy weather it's been hard to get any imaging done.
514 frames out of 3002
CG11 at f/22
ToUCam II in raw mode acquired with Astrosnap stacked and processed with Registax 3 and Photoshop
13 October at 02:02 bst
Note what I presume are clouds at the bottom left of the image cm56.38

coruscations attending the whole length of the luminosity, giving to the phenomena the aspect of a wrathful messenger, and not that of a tranquil body pursuing a harmless course..comet of 1680

Dave that is a great image. I am almost embarased  to post my image here.
What is interesting is that the light area on your image (north) top right, does not show up in my image, even allowing for the poorer resolution. Would clouds appear that quickly?
What method of assessing quality do you use in Registax? What %? do you use an IR blocking filter?
150 frames out of 200
Philips TouCamPro I
Acquired with Vega
Registax 3
C.M. 12 12th Oct 00:41 bst
222mm Dob, f5.77 + Celestron Ultima x2 Barlow
North up, West to the right ie not reversed in either direction.
