Very good images lads! I had a few looks at mars in the last few weeks and ye've done very well to get that much detail from mars, especially considering how small it is.

Are you referring to the white dot on the bottom left edge as clouds ?
I would have thought the white areas both top and bottom were polar ice caps,
Mike, strange what you didnt see then, I also have the white areas in my image (another thread).

Agreed, some very nice images there. makes me very envious of my dinky little orange blob I see with the ETX-70!! :evil:

hi folks
just reviewed the image and managed to squeeze more detail out.
I always use Gradient and set it initially at 80%. Then use the slider up or down until I see the detail diminish in the stack.
Dave I'm refering to the lightness at the centre/bottom left of the image near Solis Lacus not sure if it is cloud or not???
